Coming up in April

Menu: Spaghetti, Caesar salad, garlic bread, birthday cake.
April 8 / Trip to Gainesville Botanical Gardens
While the kitchen is closed for spring break, we’ll grab lunch at the Rabbittown Café and then check out what’s growing at the Gainesville Botanical Gardens with a guided tour.

Sign up online or contact Mildred Smith by Thursday, April 2.
April 15 / Strategies for Beating the Loneliness Blues
Have you ever been lonely or wanted to help someone who is lonely? GFUMC’s own Dr. Doug and BJ Jensen will bring creative ideas and suggestions for what might help. Menu: Roasted pork with rosemary demi-glaze, wild rice, stir fried vegetables, and cherry pie.
April 22 / Karaoke!
Maybe you have heard about it. Perhaps you have seen it. Karaoke is a fun way for people to share music that they love either singing or lip synching to recorded music with lyrics on a screen. If you would like to perform as an individual or in a group, please let Carolyn know by April 13. Volunteers from the church have already signed up to perform a few songs plus the pre-K 4 students will start the ball rolling with a couple of their own songs. Bring a happy spirit and come join the fun! Menu: Chicken and creamy noodle casserole, peas, spring salad, lemon cake.
April 29 / Bingo
All are invited for some friendly rounds of BINGO while we enjoy fellowship around the table. The competition is friendly and the grace plentiful! Menu: Hamburger steak with grilled onions, baked potatoes, garden salad, strawberry shortcake
