Celebrate the music of the big band era with the Lanier Chamber Singers and Southern Journey Big Band as they present Back in Time: A 1940’s Radio Hour Show at 4 p.m. February 22 in the GFUMC sanctuary. The program includes such hit songs as Sing! Sing! Sing!, Moonlight Serenade, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Swinging on a Star, and more! The guest radio host is WDUN’s Bill Maine, and the show features appearances by guest artists Nelson McGee, the Magnolia Sisters, and America’s least in-love couple, the Bickersons. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in the church office, online at lanierchambersingers.org, or at the door. Students admitted free with valid ID.
