The opening concert of the Lanier Chamber Singers’ season is a declaration of the transcendence of light in the physical world and spiritual realm. Metaphorically, illumination embodies clarity, understanding, and revelation, allowing one to see or understand the truth, beauty, or connection in something that was previously hidden or obscured. It transcends the physical realm of light by touching our consciousness, emotions, and spirituality, opening the door to deeper insight and understanding. Concert highlights include two 20th century choral masterworks: the majestic Lux Aeterna by Morten Lauridsen and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ sublime Serenade to Music.
Tickets are $20 if purchased with cash. Tickets purchased online or with a credit card are $20.91.
