Gainesville First offers a thriving and diverse program of music and fine arts, including choirs and handbell ensembles for all ages, plus a concert series presenting four or five productions annually. Classic Worship services are enhanced every Sunday by our Chancel Choir and 41-rank Reuter organ. Chapel and modern worship services are led by our Praise Team. There is something for everyone who loves the arts and many ways to become involved both on stage and behind the scenes.

Sounds of Faith Concert Series

Gainesville First United Methodist Church announces its Sounds of Faith concert series for 2019.  Join us as we praise God through a variety of concerts filled with music, laughter, and fellowship in this concert season. These performances allow us the opportunity to share the love of Christ with our church and community. Concerts are presented in various venues on the GFUMC campus, and most are free to the public.

Kids Music

Glow Nights is our Wednesday evening children’s program for kids ages 3 - 5th grade. They meet from 6 - 7:30pm every Wednesday night throughout the school year.

Student Music

Student Music is proud to offer several groups for 6th - 12th grade.  Whether you play an instrument, sing, or like to ring handbells, we have a place for you to share your gifts.

Adult Music

Gainesville First is blessed to have so many people with incredible musical talent, and no matter where your talent lies we have a place for you to serve and share your gifts. Acolytes are a crucial part of worship! From the processional to the recessional, they lead the clergy, lay leaders and other special guests, as well as, assist them throughout the service.

Gainesville First Production

Gainesville First Production provides support for all video, audio, lighting, and technology on our church campus. Volunteers must have a passion for, or would like to learn to use, technology to enhance and usher people into worship.
