The Sunday Brunch Club
August 3 - May 31 / Sundays 9:45-10:45am
Devouring a brunch dish they made together, students start the morning with full plates while diving deeper into the scripture reading for the day. It's our answer to the Sunday School hour.
527 / Sunday Evening
August 10 - May 3 / Sundays 5-7pm
527 is packed with student led games, worship, and a family-style dinner. Sunday nights are a great way to help students develop a faith of their own and experience belonging while having fun.
Tuesday Morning Jumpstart
August 12 - May 12 / Tuesdays 7-7:45am
On Tuesdays when school is in session, teenagers pack out Longstreet Cafe on Riverside for a breakfast with friends and a student led devotional. Afterwards, GFUMC buses and adult volunteers transport students to GMS East, GHS, NHMS, NHHS, and Lakeview Academy.
Mdwk Bible Study
August 13 - May 13 / Wednesdays 6-7:15pm
Split into middle school and high school small groups, Wednesday nights are all about influencing each other to make wiser choices, build stronger friendships and form a deeper faith while studying Scripture.
Confirmation
September- April / 9:45-10:45am
Every year 7th graders and older are invited to participate in a seasonal class where they learn more deeply what it means to be a follower of Jesus, a member of the church, and a United Methodist. At the end of the class students are invited to say yes to making their lives all about Jesus and becoming official members of the church.
