The Confirmation retreat at Camp Glisson is a cornerstone of the Confirmation journey at Gainesville First UMC.

January 30 - February 1, our 7th graders will join Confirmation students from churches all across the North Georgia United Methodist Conference for a weekend packed with faith-forming fun, big conversation and unforgettable experiences made for middle schoolers. 

Through small groups, outdoor adventures, worship, and interactive sessions students will explore what it means to say yes to their faith and yes to being a part of the life of the church by unpacking the United Methodist Membership Vows.

Because Gainesville First UMC believes this retreat is an essential part of the Confirmation experience, the church is covering the majority of the cost. Families are only asked to contribute $50 per student.

This weekend helps turn questions into understanding, community into belong, and Confirmation into something students can truly own.
