September 6 - 20

Over the last six years GFUMC has been sending mission teams and supplies to do construction, medical, and educational work with Rev. Esther Hanners and the Methodist church, school, and clinic on the island of Utila. Now the people of Utila are battling COVID-19 and they need our help. They need medical and hygiene supplies and food because the economy is shut down and the cargo ferry only comes once a week.

You can help our Honduran brothers and sisters by purchasing and bringing supplies to collection boxes by the bell tower front doors of the church and at the Lakeside Worship services for the next three weeks: September 6 - 20. See the supplies needed below.

You may also write a check to GFUMC and label it in the memo line “North Shore Honduras Collection.”

Thank you for your prayers and support!
