Honoring the past, Serving in the present, Dreaming of the future.
What is the UMW? The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
In summary: "freedom as women through Jesus Christ." To continue to grow a Christian Organization, thats frame work is already established, our hope is to build on what we’ve inherited; we can take it, make it ours, and go in the direction the Lord leads.
This is our time, opportunity to be, to show who we are, what we stand for, and who we want to help!
Recognize the Special Women in your Life!
Carnation donations can be made through Monday, May 7 in the Gathering Room, MAC Lobby, or in the Church Office during the week. Pickup is Sunday, May 13, Mother’s Day in the Gathering Room.
Make a donation today for your mother, wife, or a woman you would like to honor on this special day. You can also choose to honor women in local assisted living facilities. Each year, they look forward to the fresh carnations we deliver to them. We gave away 130 bud vases in 2016, and 163 in 2017. Our 2018 goal is to give away 200!
Your donations will make this a success again this year! Let's make it happen! Any and all donations are appreciated! Many, many thanks!
