Jake has been serving in youth ministries since he was 16 years old. He attended high school in Alpharetta, Georgia. He then went to college at the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Jake helped found the Christian fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi which stands to promote brotherhood and unity among college men based upon the common bond of Jesus Christ. He graduated with a degree in Psychology and plans to attend seminary in the future. He was recently married to Kathryn.
It is Jake’s desire to show students that they are beloved sons and daughers of God and their identity is through Jesus Christ and not in the world. It thrills him when he sees students show God’s infinite love to their friends and family. Jake’s passions are preaching, teaching, and counseling students so they grow into the men and women of Christ that God desires them to be.
