General Board of Global Ministries, United Methodist Church
There shall be a General Board of Global Ministries, ... the purpose of which is found within the expression of the total mission of the Church. It is a missional instrument of The United Methodist Church, its annual conferences, missionary conferences, and local congregations in the context of a global setting.

North Georgia Conference
The purpose of this office is to effectively spread the news about the ministries of the North Georgia Annual Conference and to make available information to assist pastors and local church leaders in carrying out both the administrative and missional needs of the Conference and the churches.

Camp Glisson
Since 1925 children and youth have been invited by North Georgia United Methodist Churches to the forest surrounding Cane Creek Falls just north of Dahlonega. Over the years this place, now known as Camp Glisson, has become holy ground as thousands have experienced God's loving presence through the beauty and the people in their time here at camp. Creek hikes, kayaking, campfires, games, worship, swimming, climbing and play combine to provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Many North Georgia clergy and those in full-time Christian service have heard God's call to ministry in this place.
