General Information for 2011-2012
The Preschool program is designed for children ages 4 months through 5 yeas of age. All children will be placed in appropriate classes based on their ages as of September 1, 2011.
An up-to-date Immunization Health Certificate must be on file before the first day of Preschool/Parent's Morning Out for each child. (The first day of Preschool is Monday, August 22, 2011. See calendar section for complete schedule.) The certificate must have your pediatrician's signature and an expiration date. These are available at your pediatrician's office or Health Department.
The Preschool staff uses Creative Curriculum. More information can be found at www.teachingstrategies.com. The Preschool currently employs 28 seasoned staff members.
Preschool hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday - Friday (August - May). Early morning drop-off is available for a small additional fee and begins at 8:15 a.m. Children bring their own lunch each day.
