Adult Ensembles

Believers Band
The Believers Band began in 2002 with six charter members. The Believers Band has grown to a membership of over 60 musicians of all ages. If you ever played an instrument and would like to recover those musical skills, you’re welcome in Believers Band. Beginners are welcome, too! Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is the principal service choir of GFUMC meets each Wednesday (7:15-8:45 p.m.) to prepare music for the worship services of the church. One of the highlights of each year is the Christmas Festival Concert, a program of familiar and new Christmas music, presented by the choir and a full orchestra. Handbell Choir
The Adult Handbell Choir is made up of experienced ringers. This ensemble provides music for worship services periodically during the school year. Anyone interested in ringing should contact Keith Jefcoat. Beginning level bell ringing is taught in summer workshops, through special arrangements with the director, or through a short-term class.

Living Waters Praise Team
The Living Waters Praise Team prepares the music for the contemporary worship service, Living Waters, which is held in the Reception Hall at both 9:30 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Michelle Alexander serves as the worship leader of this team of musicians. The team rehearses on Wednesday evenings beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the Reception Hall.
