Audio Ministry – To help operate the sound board during Sunday worship services.
Bulletin Stuffing Ministry – On Friday a team of volunteers come to the Church Office to help fold and stuff the bulletins for the Sunday morning worship services. This is an essential ministry that enables worship to happen!
Bus Driver Ministry – We need drivers who would be available and willing to drive the church bus as the need arises. All drivers must meet the church’s insurance requirements.
Church Library Ministry – The library needs volunteers to do a variety of tasks - shelving books, helping people who come into the library, light dusting and cleaning, etc.
Friendship Ministry – We are seeking friendly people who are willing to make friends with new church members and help them to integrate into the life of the church!
Gathering Room Hospitality – We need people to make coffee and put out doughnuts in the Gathering Room on Sunday mornings. Don't miss out on the opportunity to be a part of the wonderful fellowship on Sunday mornings in the Gathering Room.
Golf Cart Driver Ministry – Each Sunday we provide a wonderful ministry to our folks that need help getting from the parking lots to our doors. We need drivers to make this ministry possible!
Hospitality Escorts – Help guests on Sunday mornings to find their way around the building.
Music Ministry – Do you love to sing? Can you play the piano? The Music Ministry of GFUMC needs people who love to sing or play and can help with the children's choirs on Wednesday nights. Accompanists are also needed for the children's choirs of GFUMC.
Office Assistance Ministry – We are seeking individuals who are willing to come to the church on an "as needed" basis to stuff envelopes, visitor folders, and complete a variety of creative and fun projects to support ministries within the church and community.
Photography Ministry – Are you the photographer in your family? Do you like to capture the perfect picture? Do you enjoy spending time with your church family? We are looking for several people who enjoy taking photos and who are willing to serve on a rotating basis in taking photographs at several upcoming events: Camp Meeting in the City, Fall Kick-off, etc.
Urban Ministry – Would you like to mentor a child every Monday? We need adults who love children and are willing to tutor and mentor on a regular basis.
Wednesday Night Suppers – Individuals are needed to collect money and make change as families come to supper each week. Volunteers are also needed to help families with small children come through the serving line. A 30-minute shift earns you a free supper!
Welcome Pie Ministry – Join a team who makes and delivers pies to new members.
