Living Waters, Gainesville First UMC's contemporary Praise and Worship service, takes place each Sunday morning, at 10:55 a.m. in the GREAT Room.
What is Living Waters?
Living Waters is a Praise & Worship Contemporary style service which style utilizes a Worship Band and Praise Music. The other elements of a worship service will continue according to United Methodist doctrine and practices, with a contemporary flair.
What are some of the differences in this type of service?
Dress style is more casual, words to the songs are seen on screens instead of using a hymnal, and there is a worship leader instead of a liturgist. Sermons may employ the use of PowerPoint presentations, drama, and dialogue, and other innovations.
What is the same about this type of service?
Prayer, pastoral team, offerings, Scripture readings, United Methodist doctrine and much more. Join us Sunday mornings in the GREAT Room at 10:55 a.m.
