Preschoolers
We use the Gospel Light Sunday School Curriculum, MOVERS AND SHAKERS the first hour. Children are encouraged to move around and explore so they can discover God’s presence in their world by learning the timeless stories of the Bible.
The second hour is followed up with LITTLE KIDS TIME, by Gospel Light. This offers the opportunity for our children to apply the Bible lesson learned the first hour to their own life through worship, art, games, and more.
Kindergarten – 4th Grade Students
Enter the Methodist Marina Where Kids Catch the Faith:
They are having as much fun on Sundays as they do during Vacation Bible School since we began utilizing the Workshop Rotation Model teaching method. The same Bible story, theme, or concept is taught for four weeks with children rotating to a different station each week. Each week they encounter the lesson in different ways at each station, giving the children the opportunity to learn in their own individual style.

There is the Solid Rock Café station that looks like a quaint little Caribbean restaurant, so children can learn the lesson through cooking.

Next, one sees Whales Tales Theatre, which offers the opportunity to learn the lesson through video, puppetry, drama, and storytelling while seemingly relaxing on a beach. Can’t you just feel the tropical breeze?

As you enter the Elements of Creation Station where our children learn the lesson through Science, you feel like you have just walked into outer space.
The Creation Cove Station is for our budding artists and looks like a garden offering them a place to the lesson with art.

The Surf the Bible Station allows children to learn about the Bible on computers sitting on surfboards.

Praise Pier station is reminiscent of Coney Island and makes learning the lesson through music and games even more fun.
5th Grade Students
The fifth grade students are preparing for the transition into the Youth Program and Confirmation class next year. They review the entire Bible during the year, utilizing a systematic, but fun teaching method. They take Sunday “field trips’ during the year for added adventure.
