The Book of Judges: Unlikely Leaders...Unbelieveable Power

Do you ever wonder why God uses some Christians so powerfully and others seem to have little influence? Some answer, "It's about how much biblical training you have had - BIble college, seminary, etc." Others say, "It has to do with being in the right place at the right time and knowing the right people." God excels in connecting the dots between places, timing, and people. Certainly, knowing God's Word is a prerequisite for doing God's work. But the most vital condition for usefulness in God's hand is a passion for His glory, wanting His beauty to be seen and savored by the world. Be prepared for how God will use you to declare HIs glory to the nations.

This will be an easy summer read and study open to both men and women with little outside preparation required. Facilitated by Judith Caillier. There is no cost to attend. Study will end Wednesday, September 3.

Refresh/Recharge Women's Bible Study
Quaker Summer

Refresh/Recharge is an ongoing Bible study for women with new topics and/or books throughout the year. For the summer they are doing a study on the Women of Faith Novel of the Year.

Excerpt from the back cover of Quaker Summer:

Refresh/Recharge is an ongoing Bible study for women with new topics and/or books throughout the year. This women's Bible study is facilitated by Lee Highsmith and Kay Walker. Cost:$13.

Christ Centered Yoga ™ fuses biblical study with yoga for a uniquely soulful experience. By centering our practice on Christ, it becomes a moving prayer of praise and worship. Join us as we praise God with nothing less than all we have –our minds, bodies, and spirits.

People of all faiths are warmly welcomed as are people of all fitness levels and abilities. Yoga mats are available for those who need them. Bible study materials, Illuminating Practices, are provided each week. Becky looks forward to turning this yoga practice into a moving prayer of praise and worship of Jesus Christ.

Session is 6 weeks. Cost:$12 per class.
