Congregational Care
The Ministry of Congregational Care is a vital part of the Church's life here at GFUMC. Included in our efforts to extend Christian caring are the following ministries.
Ministerial Care: Visits people in the hospitals, nursing homes and also visits residents of families of church members.
Stephen Ministries: A one-on-one, confidential ministry provided by trained persons for those hurting from some kind of crisis in their life.
Parish Nurse Ministry: Composed of volunteer registered nurses who provide training in CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure Checks, Dietary Classes and other health ministries. For information about our Parish Nurse Ministry, click here.
Transportation: Available for persons in assisted living homes.
Small Job Repairs: Available for our members.
